Teacher Yang wrote at 2015: The girl wearing yellow shirt standing to my left is He Li Fang, she will be graduating from junior high school soon. To my right is He Li Ying, she is wearing black T-shirt, she will be on 8th grade soon, I have taught both sisters. They are kind and excel in the school but their father has cataracts and unable to work, the whole family depend on their mother's measly part time job.
Child & Story : Tianhong Liu, a nine-year old child, was born into a poor family and has a younger sister. His parents can only find part time employment. He is smart, but also a rambunctious and mischievous child, one who require much attention from both his parents and teachers to assure that he uses his intelligence for studying.
Child & Story : Wenying Long, a nine-year old child, was born into a poor family and has an elder brother. Her brother is in the fourth grade. The family does not have a stable income. Her mother is sick. Even so, her parents still go out for part time jobs. Therefore, Wenying and her brother are the left-behind children. However, Wenying is very sensible and diligent. She is one of our top students.
Child and story: Yu Xiao Ying, study in junior high school. Her sister is in my 2nd grade class. Their parents get temp jobs occasionally, but have no steady income.
Child & Story : Xiujuan Long, an eight-year old child, was born into a poor family. The household includes her grandparents, parents, aunt and elder brother. Her aunt and elder brother are also studying in the school, one is in fifth grade, and the other is in sixth grade, The whole family is dependent on her parents. although she is very young, Xiujuan is sensible. In school, she is always interacting with other students, obedient to her teachers and getting good grades. Because of this, Xiujuan is a monitor in her class.
Child & story: Lee You She, 15 years old, she will be a 9th grader soon. Her father passed away and mother re-married and left. She is raised by her grandmother and grandfather.
